Here is something new to my blog…Stevo Recommends. Each week I plan on recommending something that I really like. It could be music, and movie, electronics…something. Midomi, an amazing iPhone app

I was looking through the application store in iTunes and came across Midomi. It has been out for a while now and has gotten some great reviews, so I figured I would give it a try. Basically, this program lets you hum, sing, type, or listen to audio. Based off of that recorded sample it will tell you the song. There have been many times when I have heard a song I really liked but had absolutely no idea what it was. With this application I am now easily able to “grab” a portion of a song and get the title. I have hummed a few songs and it figured it out fairly fast. Some attempts at humming brought up multiple possible songs, but the one I hummed was definitely there. Yes, I’m still alive…

Well, where do I begin? The last few month have been pretty crazy around here. Blogging is one thing I haven’t had much time for. Here is a short explanation of some recent happenings… On September 4, 2008 I was traveling to Cleveland with Endre on business. We needed to pick up the last few supplies for our annual picnic. About half way there I got a call that my Dad was unable to breathe at work and an ambulance had been called. Needless to say, we turned around and I came back towards the office. I went directly to the hospital where my Mom and my Dad’s Secretary were already waiting. I met them in the ER in his room. At that time when I arrived they still had absolutely no idea what happened to him. He stayed in the hospital for about 2 weeks. During that time he was moved from the ER to the ICU, then to a Neuro floor. They are saying he had a stroke, but no tests...
